Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Our client is searching for a dedicated Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to assess the impact and effectiveness of their programs in the Gauteng region. This role is critical for gathering data, analyzing program performance, and providing insights to inform strategic improvements and ensure accountability within the charitable sector. You will work closely with program teams to design and implement robust M&E frameworks, contributing significantly to the organization's learning and development.

This position requires significant fieldwork and on-site engagement.

• Design and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks and tools for various projects.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret program data to assess progress towards goals and identify challenges.
• Prepare regular M&E reports, including findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Conduct field visits to gather data and provide on-site support to program teams.
• Ensure data quality and ethical data collection practices are maintained.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies, or a related field.
• Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation (M&E) roles, preferably within the non-profit sector.
• Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, Excel) and M&E methodologies.
• Strong report writing and presentation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage data collection processes in the field.
