Postdoctoral Research Fellow - Oncology

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and promising Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join their leading Oncology research group in Soweto . • Design, execute, and interpret experiments related to cancer cell signaling, tumor microenvironment, or drug resistance mechanisms.
• Perform a variety of laboratory techniques including cell culture, molecular biology assays, protein analysis, and potentially in vivo studies.
• Maintain meticulous records of experiments, analyze data using appropriate statistical methods, and present findings at lab meetings and scientific conferences.
• Collaborate effectively with other members of the research team and contribute to a positive lab culture.
• Stay abreast of current literature in oncology and related fields, bringing new ideas and approaches to the research.
• Contribute to manuscript preparation for peer-reviewed publications.

• Ph.D. in Oncology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Immunology, or a related life science discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in cancer research with a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
• Proficiency in standard molecular and cell biology techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a research team in Soweto .
