Purpose of the job  To effectively manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the grocery floor, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient stock management, high merchandising standards, accurate pricing, and achievement of sales and profitability targets. The Grocery Floor Manager is responsible for leading and developing employees while ensuring compliance with Pick n Pay policies, procedures, food safety requirements, and health and safety standards.
** Minimum Requirements
*** Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
* Relevant retail, grocery, business management, or related qualification will be advantageous.
* Minimum 2–3 years' retail experience, preferably within a grocery or supermarket environment.
* Previous supervisory or team-leadership experience is required.
* Experience in stock control, merchandising, customer service, and retail operations.
* Computer literacy, including basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and retail point-of-sale systems.
* Good understanding of retail stock management and loss prevention.
* Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
* Valid driver's licence may be advantageous depending on store requirements.### ###
