FMCG Sales Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead and develop their FMCG sales team in the Soweto region. This leadership role is crucial for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and achieving sales targets through effective team management and strategic planning. You will be responsible for motivating, coaching, and guiding the sales force to deliver exceptional performance.

The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership qualities, a deep understanding of the FMCG market, and a proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.

• Lead, manage, and motivate the FMCG sales team to achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
• Recruit, train, and develop sales representatives to ensure a high-performing team.
• Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors and large retail clients.
• Ensure effective implementation of promotional programs and marketing initiatives in the field.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a Sales Management role within the FMCG sector.
• Proven track record of successfully leading sales teams and achieving challenging sales objectives.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and strategic planning abilities.
