Our client is seeking a versatile Full Stack Software Engineer to contribute to their cloud-native initiatives in Soweto . This hybrid role offers an exciting opportunity to work on modern, scalable applications from the front-end to the back-end, leveraging cloud technologies. You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to deployment and maintenance. The ideal candidate is passionate about building efficient, high-quality software and enjoys tackling diverse technical challenges within a collaborative team setting.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain full-stack applications using modern technologies, focusing on cloud-native architectures.
- Build robust and scalable backend services and APIs, ensuring seamless integration with front-end components.
- Create engaging and responsive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Implement and manage applications on cloud platforms, utilizing services like containers, serverless functions, and managed databases.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code across the stack.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer .
- Proficiency in front-end development with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular) and modern HTML/CSS.
- Strong experience with backend development languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Go) and frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker).
- Experience with relational or No
SQL databases. - Understanding of CI/CD principles and version control (Git).
