AI Solutions Architect - Cloud & Big Data

Our client is looking for an innovative AI Solutions Architect to join their expanding technology division in Soweto, Gauteng

• Architect and design end-to-end AI/ML solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Lead the selection and implementation of appropriate big data technologies and data pipelines for AI workloads.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to define solution requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Oversee the development and deployment of AI models and applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain architectural documentation, standards, and best practices.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to AI solutions.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software architecture, with a significant focus on AI/ML and cloud technologies.
• Proven experience architecting and deploying solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Deep understanding of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and No

• Familiarity with various AI/ML frameworks (e.g., Tensor Flow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and MLOps principles.
• Excellent understanding of software development principles, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience working in or with the Soweto, Gauteng region is a plus.
