Senior Mobile Application Developer; iOS & Android

Our client, a dynamic digital agency, is looking for a talented Senior Mobile Application Developer to join their creative team in Soweto, Gauteng
. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying high-quality mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms. You will work on exciting projects for a diverse range of clients, translating innovative ideas into user-friendly and engaging mobile experiences. • Design, build, and maintain advanced native applications for the iOS and Android platforms.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive and engaging user interfaces.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Integrate mobile applications with backend services and APIs.
• Test and optimize applications for performance, usability, and stability.
• Identify and fix bugs, troubleshoot issues, and implement software updates.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile development trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Manage the app release process for the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure project success within Gauteng

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of professional experience in mobile application development (iOS and/or Android).
• Proven experience developing native iOS applications using Swift/Objective-C or Android applications using Kotlin/Java.
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles and best practices.
• Experience with mobile development frameworks and tools.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and mobile data storage techniques.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities, essential for collaboration in Soweto

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with cross-platform development frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter) is a plus.
