Code 14 Interprovincial Driver

Our client is looking for an experienced and robust Code 14 Interprovencial Driver to manage long-distance routes connecting different provinces, based out of Soweto . This position is vital for ensuring the smooth and timely transport of goods across South Africa. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong navigation skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to operate heavy-duty vehicles efficiently over extended periods and diverse terrains.

• Operate Code 14 vehicles for interprovincial goods transportation.
• Ensure safe and timely delivery of cargo to various destinations nationwide.
• Strictly follow electronic logbook regulations and comply with all driving hour limits.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting defects.
• Securely load and unload freight, adhering to all safety and transport regulations.

• Valid Code 14 driver's license and a current Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Code 14 driver, with interprovincial route experience preferred.
• A clean driving record with no major infringements.
• Proficiency in navigating diverse road networks and conditions across South Africa.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on long-haul journeys.
