The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for executing and controlling all physical operational activities within the warehouse, ensuring that inbound, outbound, testing, recycling, and inventory processes are carried out accurately and efficiently in line with operational plans issued by management. This execution-focused role translates planning, strategy, and client requirements into controlled daily activities while maintaining traceability, compliance, and asset accountability.
Responsibilities- Ensure all incoming equipment is accurately received and documented.
- Verify serialised equipment and flag discrepancies, damage, or undocumented items.
- Pick, pack, and ship outbound shipments according to release instructions, ensuring compliance with client specifications, quality standards, and traceability.
- Move equipment between warehouse and technical testing while maintaining accurate tracking of units awaiting test, units passed/failed, and units requiring repair or recycling.
- Supervise disassembly, sorting, and classification of non-redeployable equipment.
- Maintain real‑time inventory integrity through routine cycle counts, structured audits, and investigation of variances.
- Translate operational plans into daily warehouse activities, allocating labour and space to meet deadlines and shipment commitments.
- Ensure all goods movements are properly documented and maintain audit‑ready records for inventory, exports, projects, refurbished equipment, and recycling streams.
- Direct warehouse personnel, enforce handling standards for sensitive equipment, and maintain safe and organized storage practices.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Warehouse Supervisor.
- Experience in technical, telecommunications, or electronics environments.
- Strong understanding of serialised inventory control and asset traceability.
- Experience managing high‑value infrastructure equipment rather than commodity goods.
- Matric qualification.
