Warehouse Operations Assistant

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and motivated Warehouse Operations Assistant to support their busy warehouse operations in Soweto . You will assist in various warehouse functions including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and dispatch. This role is essential for maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring the efficient flow of goods within the facility. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, physically capable, and willing to learn, contributing to a team that values efficiency and accuracy in all its tasks.

• Assist in the receiving and inspection of incoming goods, verifying quantities and quality.
• Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications and delivery schedules.
• Stock and organize inventory within the warehouse, ensuring proper rotation and accessibility.
• Support the dispatch team by preparing orders for shipment and loading onto vehicles.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment throughout the warehouse.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, under supervision and after training.

• Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is beneficial.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 20kg.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
