About the Role

Our client, a key player in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is seeking an experienced and vigilant Warehouse Supervisor to oversee operations at their facility in Soweto . This role is essential for ensuring the efficient and safe management of warehouse operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and staff supervision. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of productivity and accuracy while fostering a safe working environment for the warehouse team.

This is a critical opportunity to manage daily operations for a major FMCG distributor .

• Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping of FMCG products .
• Ensure accurate inventory management through regular cycle counts and stocktaking procedures.
• Manage and motivate a team of warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Optimize warehouse layout and workflow to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Liaise with logistics and transportation teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within a warehouse environment, preferably in FMCG .
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics principles.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate staff.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and safety protocols.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications are a plus.
