About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operations Coordinator to support their bustling warehouse facility in Soweto . This role is integral to ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods within the warehouse. You will assist in managing daily operations, coordinating with team members, and ensuring that all processes adhere to safety and operational standards. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and possesses excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate tasks and resolve minor issues, contributing to the overall success of the warehouse team.

• Assist in the coordination of daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Support the warehouse supervisor in managing team schedules and task assignments.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and assist in conducting regular stock checks.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and security procedures within the warehouse.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain organized records of warehouse activities and generate basic operational reports.
• Help identify opportunities for process improvements within the warehouse operations.

• High school diploma or equivalent; a certificate in logistics or supply chain is a plus.
• 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics support role.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management principles.
