Warehouse Dispatch Clerk

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and organized Warehouse Dispatch Clerk to manage outgoing shipments in Soweto . This role is essential for ensuring that all orders are accurately processed, documented, and dispatched efficiently and on time. You will work closely with the warehouse team and carriers to coordinate pick-ups and deliveries, maintain dispatch records, and contribute to the smooth functioning of the logistics department, ensuring all outgoing goods meet company standards before leaving the facility.

• Prepare and process all necessary documentation for outgoing shipments, including manifests and waybills.
• Coordinate with trucking companies and couriers for timely pick-up of goods.
• Verify the accuracy of orders being dispatched against shipping orders and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate and organized dispatch records, including proof of delivery.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and transportation providers to resolve any dispatch-related issues.
• Ensure the loading of trucks is conducted safely and efficiently, adhering to warehouse procedures.

• Previous experience in a dispatch , shipping, or warehouse administrative role.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using computer systems for record-keeping and communication, including MS Office.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with logistics documentation and processes is advantageous.
