About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Operations Lead to join their facility in Soweto . This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the warehouse floor. You will guide a team of warehouse associates, coordinate tasks, uphold safety standards, and ensure accuracy in receiving, storing, and dispatching goods. This position requires a hands‑on approach, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to operational excellence within the Gauteng region.

We are looking for someone passionate about optimizing warehouse processes and fostering a productive team environment.

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse associates during shifts.
• Ensure efficient execution of receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping processes.
• Maintain high standards of workplace safety and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with cycle counts and stock management.
• Train new team members and provide ongoing guidance and performance feedback.
• Collaborate with warehouse management to identify and implement process improvements.

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment, preferably with some lead or supervisory experience.
• Solid understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory control and safety protocols.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
