Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive diagnostics and road tests on vehicles to identify faults Perform routine servicing, MOT testing, warranty repairs, and vehicle inspections Use technical literature, diagnostic tools, and testing procedures to diagnose issues Maintain high health and safety standards within the workshop environment Ensure all work complies with manufacturer and safety standards Communicate clearly with customers regarding vehicle condition and repairs Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used Engage in manufacturer training to update technical skills and knowledge Candidate Requirements:
Recognised apprenticeship or equivalent technical qualification Minimum of 3 years experience in vehicle service and repair within a dealership environment Valid MOT certification Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and testing procedures Excellent attention to detail, safety awareness, and customer service skills Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team This is a full-time, permanent MOT Technician position offering an attractive salary package.
