Site Manager

Location: Long Sutton

Net Temps are seeking an experienced Externals/Demolition Site Manager to oversee and coordinate an external demolition project in Long Sutton. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, supervising experience, and familiarity with software systems. This role involves leading teams on-site, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering the project efficiently within set timelines. The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in managing resources, liaising with clients, and maintaining high standards of quality throughout the demolition process.

Duties

* Lead and supervise external demolition activities, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently

* Manage on-site teams, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to meet project objectives

* Oversee the procurement and utilisation of equipment and materials required for demolition works

* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project execution

* Prepare progress reports and documentation for project milestones and completion

* Address any unforeseen issues promptly to minimise delays or additional costs

Requirements

* Proven management experience within the construction or demolition industry

* Supervising experience on large-scale external projects is essential

* Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously

* Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients

* Excellent computer and IT skills

* Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to demolition sites

* Ability to lead a team confidently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality

* Relevant qualifications in construction management (SMSTS and First Aid) and Enhanced DBS as the project is live and on a school.

Shifts and rate

* Between £260 - £280 per day but can be negotiable dependant on experience.

* Shifts will be 7am - 5pm Monday to Friday with weekend work available.
