We welcome applicants from a range of backgrounds and experience. To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
Essential:- NEBSOH Construction Certificate in Health & Safety or equivalent
- Experience with in the construction industry
- Strong understanding of Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) legislation, processes and best practice
- Experience of undertaking site inspections, audits, risk assessments and investigations
- Strong leadership, organisation, and coordination skills
- A proactive, positive, and solutions-focused approach aligned with our values of Building, Sharing, and Caring
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Confidence using IT systems (Microsoft Office and project tools)
- Full UK driving licence (minimum 6 months post-test experience)
- Commitment to professional standards, learning, and continuous improvement
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- First Aid at Work certification
- IOSH membership or working towards professional membership
- Experience with CDM Regulations 2015, including the duties of the Principal Contractor and Principal Designer
- Experience with in a main contractor or construction environment
- Environmental or Quality qualification, such as an IEMA or ISO-related qualification

This role requires an Enhanced DBS check (including the Children’s and Adults’ Barred Lists), any may require additional vetting as required by clients. All checks must be maintained and renewed upon request.
Job Description What You'll Be Doing
Reporting to an Associate Director, the Health & Safety Advisor will support the successful delivery of SHEQ across our construction projects and wider business. You will work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, site teams and other stakeholders to ensure high standards of Health & Safety are maintained and continually improved.
This is a key role within the team, providing practical advice, promoting a positive Health & Safety culture and supporting our people to work safely and effectively while reflecting our values of Building, Sharing, and Caring.
