About the role
justteachers is working in partnership with a supportive and inclusive primary school in the Spalding area who are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full‑time, long‑term basis from September 2026.
This role is based within the school’s Alternative Provision (AP) hub and involves providing 1:1 support to an EYFS‑aged pupil with profound and complex learning needs. The AP hub offers a structured, nurturing environment designed to meet the individual needs of pupils who require a more tailored approach to learning and development.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting an EYFS pupil with profound and complex learning needs within the school’s Alternative Provision hub.
- Delivering highly personalised support aligned with EHCP targets.
- Supporting communication, sensory processing, emotional regulation and early learning development.
- Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, AP staff and external professionals.
- Creating a calm, safe and consistent environment to support progress and wellbeing.
- Previous experience supporting children with complex or profound SEN, ideally within EYFS or alternative provision settings.
- A patient, resilient and compassionate approach with strong consistency.
- Confidence working as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
- Two recent references and an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
