Role Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality lessons within the National Curriculum while meeting the complex SEMH needs of all pupils Support the class team in facilitating learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviours Report on pupils' progress and concerns, liaising with other school staff to ensure pupils' needs are met Supervise pupils during non-classroom time, including extra-curricular activities and school trips Build positive relationships with pupils, encouraging interaction and positive learning outcomes Requirements Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Have a strong educational background to degree level Have previous successful teaching experience Have previous experience of working with pupils with SEMH within an educational setting Have experience of using effective behaviour management techniques Be committed to professional development and willing to learn
