Are you an experienced CAD Designer looking to join a rapidly growing, well‑established company and want to have a strong influence in the design department? This company specialises in the design and manufacture of bespoke machinery, including boilers, shredders, and other industrial equipment, with a strong focus on practical, build‑ready engineering solutions.

• Creating detailed CAD designs that are both functional and manufacturable, taking into account materials, thicknesses, strengths, and mechanical tolerances.
• Working closely with engineers and production teams, participating in regular in‑office design meetings, and providing technical input throughout the build process to ensure design integrity.
• Collaborating with Contracts Managers to lead projects through the design phase.
• Ensuring designs are build‑ready and meet all manufacturing and engineering process requirements.

• Proven experience in machinery design and strong CAD skills, particularly with Solid Works.
• Deep understanding of materials and engineering principles.
• Experience and strong understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes.
• Ability to produce accurately detailed fabrication drawings, modelling and calculations.
