SWRP are recruiting on behalf of a well-established professional services firm for an AML & Compliance Analyst to join their Compliance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and attention to detail to develop their career within Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Client Due Diligence (CDD) and regulatory compliance.

The Role

Working as part of the Compliance team, you will support client onboarding and ongoing compliance processes, ensuring regulatory requirements are met and potential risks are identified.

Key responsibilities:

* Conducting AML and CDD checks using internal systems

* Reviewing identity and verification documentation

* Analysing corporate structures and identifying Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs)

* Carrying out sanctions, PEP and adverse media screening

* Reviewing client information and identifying further requirements

* Liaising with clients and colleagues to obtain additional information

* Escalating potential compliance concerns where appropriate

* Maintaining accurate compliance records and updating systems

* Ensuring all checks are completed within required timescales

About You

* Previous experience in AML, compliance, CDD, KYC or a similar role would be advantageous

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

* Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Proactive, organised and self-motivated

* Professional and client-focused approach

* Team player with the ability to work independently when required

Desirable Experience

* Knowledge of AML regulations, CDD requirements and sanctions screening

* Experience reviewing corporate structures and beneficial ownership

* Understanding of UK financial crime regulations

* Experience with in legal, financial services, accountancy or professional services environments
