We are proud to be recruiting for a Non-Nurse Deputy Care Home Manager to join a newly registered, purpose-led care home in Spalding. This is an exciting opportunity to support the launch and ongoing development of a growing service, helping to build a strong, values-driven culture centred on quality, dignity, and person-centred care.

Working closely with the Home Manager, you will play a key leadership role in shaping standards, supporting the team, and ensuring residents receive exceptional care in a safe, welcoming environment.

The Role

As Deputy Care Home Manager, you will support the overall management and daily operations of the home. You will provide visible leadership on the floor, ensuring high standards of care are delivered consistently while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing for every resident.

You will act as a role model for best practice, supporting and mentoring the care team, and deputising for the Home Manager in their absence.

This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Carer or Team Leader ready to take the next step into management.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the service
Lead, supervise, and mentor care staff to maintain high standards
Ensure person-centred care plans are implemented and regularly reviewed
Promote dignity, choice, independence, and safeguarding at all times
Monitor compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
Assist with staff training, supervisions, and performance management
Build positive relationships with residents, families, and external professionals
Contribute to audits, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

Experience in a senior care role within a residential or nursing home setting
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (minimum)
Working towards or willing to undertake NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Good understanding of CQC standards and regulatory requirements
Compassionate, professional, and values-driven approach
Confident decision-maker with a proactive and flexible attitude
