We're recruiting for a Garage Parts Assistant to join a well-established commercial vehicle maintenance operation in Spalding.

The Role
As a Garage Parts Assistant, you will support the workshop and customers by ensuring the correct parts are available when required.
Your responsibilities will include:

· Communicating with customers both by phone and in person

· Managing and maintaining an organised parts inventory

· Locating and issuing parts from stock

· Creating invoices for parts

· Responding to customer queries and resolving issues

· Working closely with technicians to ensure they have the parts required to complete their work

· Supporting the smooth running of the parts and workshop operation

About You
We're looking for someone who is:

· Organised and able to manage stock accurately

· Confident communicating with customers and colleagues

· Reliable and punctual

· Comfortable working as part of a team

· Keen to learn about commercial vehicle parts and maintenance

· Interested in developing a long-term career within the automotive industry

Previous parts or automotive experience would be beneficial, but a willingness to learn and a positive attitude are equally important.
