Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator
Unique Employment are looking for a Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator for our client based in Spalding.
This is a temporary contract for 9 months.
Working hoursMonday - Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm
Responsibilities- To promote Health, Safety and Environmental awareness throughout all areas of the Company and ensure all tasks are completed as required within the relevant Health, Safety and Environmental Regulations.
- To ensure there are risk assessments and work instructions in place for all activities.
- To complete regular workplace inspections and safety walks to ensure work areas and equipment are kept in good condition.
- Maintain and compile Health and Safety statistics for Senior Management and Health and Safety meetings.
- Must have good communication skills
- Be punctual
- Ability to work on own initiative
Be committed to the role and demonstrate enthusiasm towards promoting the health, safety and well being of colleagues, and help to provide a safe and healthy environment for work.
- Knowledge and understanding of a production/warehouse setting and the part Health and Safety plays within that environment.
- Good analytical skills
- Ideally IOSH Managing Safely qualified or hold a similar qualification (desirable not mandatory).
