• Demonstrates knowledge of assigned sports fundamentals.
• Organizational and motivational skills.
• Ability to model behavior as outlined in Coaches Handbook.
• Successful coaching experience and training over a period of years.
• Willingness to support the total athletic program.
• Current First Aid and C.P.R. card.
• Those recommended for hire must attend a training class on the district’s sexual harassment training.
• Hepatitis B vaccination, if necessary.
• Fingerprinting for background check.
• Head coaches must be 21 years of age;
  Assistant coaches must be 19 years of age.
• Classroom teacher is preferred but not required.

Hepatitis B and HIV vaccination as required. Background check required.
