Pay For Position
PER FULL DAY (3.75 hrs>):
Substitute Teachers: $200/day
PER HALF DAY (3.75 hrs
Substitute Teachers: $100/half day
Bethel Schools is seeking certificated Speech Language Pathologist applicants for substitute opportunities.
- Must hold a valid Washington State ESA certificate as Speech Language Pathologist
- Ability to commit to and be flexible within the full long-term substitute assignment.

2025 - 26 SY Certificated Substitute Pay PER FULL DAY (3.75 hrs>):
Substitute Teachers: $200/day

Bethel Schools is seeking certificated Speech Language Pathologist applicants for substitute opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Washington State ESA certificate as Speech Language Pathologist
- Successful substitute experience preferred.
- Ability to commit to and be flexible within the full long-term substitute assignment.
- Follows all plans and other instructions provided by the Speech Language Pathologist and/or school.
- Assumes responsibility for duties assigned to the regular Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience and training in diagnosis and therapeutic intervention of articulation, expressive and receptive language, fluency, and voice with students age 3 - 21.
- Working knowledge of strategies and accommodations to support students in inclusion settings.
- Ability to collaborate positively with general education and special education staff, parents and administrators.
- Experience with a variety of diagnostic instruments appropriate for students.
- Skill and experience working with students who use augmentative and adaptive communication strategies and devices.
- Experience in writing Individual Education Programs (IEP), including working knowledge of social and behavioral language goals, specific task analysis skills, and ability to write measurable annual goals and objectives.
- Ability to participate as an effective member of the IEP team.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel between buildings.
Reports to assigned program administrator; receives lead guidance from school nurse.
