Base pay range: $16.91/hr - $24.15/hr.
Job OverviewProvide exceptional customer service to help people live healthier lives by treating customers and employees fairly and ethically, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and delivering the right products and services at the right time with accurate pricing.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient intervention by delivering health and wellness services consistent with state and federal laws.
- Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities that do not require a pharmacist’s professional judgment.
- Count, measure, and prepare specified products using company best practices.
- Complete billing procedures accurately to ensure value for customers and the company.
- Answer phone calls, triage calls, and answer inquiries as appropriate.
- Provide a stellar customer experience while accurately and efficiently completing all steps of reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
- Understand and follow company guidelines for inventory management, ordering, and vendor coupons.
- Operate the cash register, handle electronic funds transactions, and follow cashier handling policies to prevent loss.
- Support health and wellness initiatives and provide support for minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
- Maintain clean and organized work stations and customer waiting areas.
- Put away legend orders, including Central Fill deliveries.
- Work cooperatively in a high‑paced, sometimes stressful environment.
- Resolve conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies regarding confidentiality.
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
- Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be 18 years old.
- Ability to handle highly confidential information.
- Meets minimum state requirements to perform the functions related to the position.
- Any previous comparable experience.
- Equivalent experience in a pharmacy clerk role.
- Familiarity with EPRN.
- Compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; report all illegal activity.
- Knowledge of all food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Understanding of ordering functions and computerized inventory management.
- Ability to manage conflict and work cooperatively in a high‑paced environment.
- Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
