Warehouse Supervisor

Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor assists the Warehouse Operations Manager directing the daily activities of the warehouse, supervising employees, and ensuring proper utilization of space, equipment, and manpower. Provides leadership, direction, and monitors target accomplishments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities related to receiving, stocking, picking, assembling, conditioning, inventory handling and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with day‑to‑day standards and maintain team pace to meet pieces per hour goals while safeguarding safety and quality.
• Implement and maintain warehouse safety and security programs, evaluate housekeeping and sanitation levels, and review 6S scores.
• Maintain cleanliness and secure the warehouse; prevent damage to product, equipment, and facility.
• Enforce dress code and professionalism at all times.
• Inspect physical conditions of the warehouse and equipment, report needed maintenance or replacement.
• Follow standard operating procedures for picking, receiving, handling, storing, or salvaging products.
• Audit and inspect product locations after receiving or picking for errors or quality issues.
• Manage customer pickup operations, supervise locating, picking and inspecting products for customers, and oversee loading into vehicles.
• Provide education and mentorship on best practices of receiving, storing, and picking products.
• Track quality and performance measures and implement strategies for improvement.
• Illustrate the company’s core and growth values in all job functions.
• Follow OSHA and company safety rules and procedures.

Accountability

• Maintain safe, efficient, and lean operation of the facility and equipment.
• Achieve productivity and quality goals for picking, put‑away, receiving, MTOs, customer pickup, and other processes.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Maintain reliable attendance.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings, training, and education.
• Assist in training other employees and providing backup.
• Complete other assignments and special projects as requested.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a warehouse environment.
• 1–10 months inventory control preferred.
• 6 months supervisory experience.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $17.22 – $25.82. Profit sharing available to eligible employees.
