As a PRN Medical Assistant, you’ll provide care to client employees and their dependents at our Health Centers located in the Spanish Fork, UT area. The scheduled hours are PRN as needed, Monday‑Thursday, day shift.
What You’ll Do- Interview patients and measure vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height)
- Maintain patient health records to ensure accurate and up‑to‑date information
- Prepare treatment rooms, clean and sterilize instruments
- Administer medication, including injections; perform laboratory tests; operate EKGs and other diagnostic equipment as permitted by state regulations
- Perform administrative tasks, assist at the front desk, schedule appointments, make follow‑up calls, and order medical supplies
- Perform other duties as assigned
- National certification in Medical Assisting from a Premise Health‑approved organization, OR a Certificate/Diploma and transcripts from an accredited Medical Assistant program with a completed and passed hands‑on externship (online courses are not accepted)
- Current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers (required)
- State Lab Certificate (NV only)
- CMA certification required from the American Association of Medical Assistants, the National Center of Competency Testing, the National Certification Medical Association, American Medical Technologists, or any other recognized certifying body approved by the Board of Medical Examiners (South Carolina only)
- Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred
