The role reports directly to the General Manager of Operations and requires a blend of leadership, customer service, and hands‑on maintenance skills.

Summary: The Site Manager is responsible for training, scheduling, regular operations, facility maintenance, equipment care, and visitor experience across assigned campgrounds and day‑use areas within the district.
Responsibilities- Oversee general operations, ensuring compliance with permits, operating plans, and company standards.
- Supervise, train, and develop staff including hosts, maintenance, and seasonal teams.
- Conduct training workshops, including new‑hire orientation and ongoing safety meetings.
- Maintain relationships with employees, governmental agencies, and the public.
- Handle visitor complaints and rule violations courteously and effectively.
- Troubleshoot and respond to operational situations in real time.
- Suggest process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Perform manual labor and assist maintenance personnel with routine duties.
- Participate in fee collection, facility and grounds maintenance, and utility testing.
- Secure, process, and maintain records of deposits and revenues; submit reports.
- Collect timecards and submit summaries to Operations Manager.
- Report unsafe or hazardous conditions and enforce rules per customer service standards.
- Fill in for hosts during breaks, sick leave, and vacations.
- Strong customer service skills and extensive public contact experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexible, adaptable, and resilient.
- Prior personnel management experience (preferred).
- Basic manual labor abilities, including cleaning and sanitizing facilities.
- Willingness and ability to consistently move about the facility and lift 20+ lbs.
- Solid administrative abilities and computer skills for recordkeeping and money handling.
- Ability to effectively handle conflicts.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and learn quickly; follow instructions accurately.
- Flexibility to work a regular evenings and weekends schedule.
