Purpose and ScopeThis key position is responsible for making our customers projects come to life and ensuring all products are installed accurately, in a timely manner, and to the satisfaction of our valued customers. This role covers all site preparation work as well as installation of all product lines.
Job SummaryArtisan Millworks LLC is looking for a highly motivated Door and Trim Installer who wants to join a quickly growing company with great growth opportunities. Preferred candidates will have door and trim installation experience. Duties include installation in residential and commercial settings, including new construction sites, homes, commercial buildings, and offices. Candidates should have a working knowledge of power tools and problem-solving ability.
Duties/ Responsibilities
- Installation of doors and trim.
- Read and translate drawings and diagrams.
- Identify and troubleshoot installation issues.
- Perform quality inspection of finished products to maintain quality standards.
- Apply on-the-job critical thinking to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain good working relationships with coworkers and supervisors.
- Fix issues as they are presented onsite.
- Follow standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Adhere to safety regulations.
- Bilingual English & Spanish (not required).
- Adaptable to a growing team.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Self-driven and positive attitude.
- Willingness to grow within the company.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines with limited supervision.
- Positive attitude with a dedication to quality work and craftsmanship.
- Willingness to work overtime.
- Knowledge of how to scribe casing and shelving to fit.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physically able to lift, push, and pull more than 150 lbs.
- Able to stand, sit, walk, move, squat, and climb for long periods.
- Operating heavy equipment (forklifts and cranes) is a plus.
- Positive attitude with dedication to high quality work and craftsmanship.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines with limited supervision.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Apprenticeship
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
