Forklift Driver Day Shift

Rimports of Provo, UT 84606 is looking to hire a full-time Forklift Driver to join our team.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FORKLIFT DRIVER

As a Forklift Driver, you are responsible for helping move product and maintaining organization throughout the warehouse. The product mover must have strong attention to detail and knowledge of product and location.

JOB DUTIES:

Continuously:

• Perform daily inspection on forklift.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Accurately load all customers' trucks with double check.
• Keep warehouse organized and clean.
• Keep floor stocked with pallets and boxes.
• Pay attention to detail and watch for any product discrepancies/errors.
• Put away product.
• Work where assigned by Supervisor.
• Wear seatbelt and follow all safety procedures.

Periodically:

• Help with special projects as needed.
• Check all labels to ensure they are stored correctly.
• Organize and sort pallets.
• Odd sized, bad, broken, production, etc.

Communication:

• Communicate with Managers/Supervisors to know what materials are needed and priorities.
• Communicate with Shipping Foreman all priorities, project instruction, special projects, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be forklift certified
• Knowledge of product and locations.
• Must be able to lift up to lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Must be physically able to sit and twist for long periods of time.
• Must have high tolerance to smells/odors.
• Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Pay: $17.00/hour

WORK SCHEDULE

Day shift

Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm
