Job Summary

This position is responsible for the administrative and office support tasks for the Planning Department.

Essential Duties

Administrative / Office Support

  • Maintain office files, records, and basic documentation
  • Support internal departments with administrative tasks as needed
  • Update and maintain daily spreadsheets (tracking, reporting, and/or data entry)
  • Ensure accuracy of data, follow up on missing information, and flag discrepancies
  • Assist with preparing basic reports or summaries for internal use

Purchasing / Supplies / Parts

  • Purchase office supplies and internal department parts as needed
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to confirm specifications and requirements
  • Track orders, delivery status, backorders, and receipts

Tools, equipment, materials

  • Computer
  • Scanner/printer
  • Multi-line phones

Physical Demands

  • Sitting frequently

Preferred

  • Prior experience with purchasing, ordering, inventory, or vendor coordination
  • Familiarity with basic office accounting processes (invoices, receipts, POs)
  • Experience supporting a warehouse/manufacturing/operations environment
