Seasonal Customer Support Representative; Temporary

Luddites is an employee-owned retail business that runs both a traditional mail order and an online catalog. We specialize in unique and hard-to-find products across brushes, toys, housewares, optics, and sporting hardware, and we serve niche markets with a carefully curated selection. The holidays bring a surge of orders and questions, and we’re looking for a seasonal team member to help every customer feel well taken care of.

This is a full-time temporary role starting as soon as possible and running through January 31st, with the possibility of extension. You’ll provide phone and email support, help customers place orders, and work closely with our warehouse team to make sure orders are handled smoothly.

• Provide friendly, professional support by phone and email, responding in a timely manner

• Help customers place orders, answer product questions, process transactions, and handle returns

• Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly and accurately

• Process and track mail orders, coordinating with the warehouse team

• Keep accurate records of customer interactions and resolutions in Shopify and Google Workspace

• Share customer feedback with the team to help improve products and processes

• Previous experience in customer service, support, or a related field

• Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude

• Comfortable with computers. Experience with Shopify, Google Workspace, or Slack is a plus.

• Able to juggle multiple tasks and stay detail-oriented during busy periods

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Availability for Saturday shifts, with possible additional weekend work

• Full-time, including Saturdays

• $20/hour

• On-site in Sparks, NV

• Temporary, hourly position through January 31st, with possibility of extension
