Seeking a dedicated General Dentist to join our close-knit dental practice. This role is ideal for a dental professional who enjoys building lasting patient relationships, delivering high-quality comprehensive care, and working alongside a supportive, collaborative team.
What You'll Be Doing- Providing comprehensive dental care to patients of varying ages, including exams, cleanings, and preventive treatments
- Diagnosing oral health conditions and developing appropriate treatment plans
- Performing procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, extractions, and root canals
- Reviewing patient dental and medical histories to guide treatment decisions
- Reading X-rays and other diagnostic images to assess oral health
- Administering local anesthesia and monitoring patient comfort throughout procedures
- Educating patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options
- Referring patients to specialists when advanced or specialized care is needed
- Collaborating with dental hygienists, assistants, and other team members to ensure smooth patient care
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date treatment records in dental practice software
- Following sterilization and infection control protocols in accordance with regulations
- Staying current on new techniques, materials, and best practices in general dentistry
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
- Active, valid dental license in good standing as required by the state of practice
- Strong clinical skills across a broad range of general dentistry procedures
- Excellent communication skills with patients and coworkers
- A patient, empathetic approach that helps put patients at ease
- Comfort using dental practice software and diagnostic imaging systems
- A professional approach to patient confidentiality and safety
- CPR certification, as required
