PositionOccupational Safety Health Analyst – Palmdale, CA | Reno, NV
Responsibilities- Ensure workplace conditions comply with applicable federal and state Occupational Safety and Health Standard provisions, maintaining required records.
- Participate in OSHA inspections and follow up on citations.
- Investigate, prepare, and forward incidents as required.
- Report on injuries and fatalities.
- Conduct safe work procedures training courses.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the FAA ATO WSA EOSH Program and assist District Safety and Environmental Compliance Managers for the Los Angeles (LAX) District.
- Assist with Asbestos, Lead, Environmental Compliance, OSH Compliance, Confined Space, Fall Protection, Safety Training, Drinking Water, IAQ, and Pandemic programs.
- Participate in EOSH investigations related to accidental releases, mishaps, and employee complaints.
Travel: up to 50% (including approximately 25%–50% within the LAX District).
Must work onsite in Palmdale, CA or Reno, NV.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Public Trust Security clearance (or ability to obtain).
- Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 2+ years; additional experience may substitute for degree.
- Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or Associated Safety Professional.
- Certifications in AHERA Asbestos, Lead Professional, HAZWOPER, or similar.
- Fit‑tested for respirator use; enrolled in Respiratory Protection Program.
- Ability to climb structures, oversee Fall Protection Program.
- Experience in Confined Space assessment, Forklift operation/instruction, Aerial Lift instruction.
- Excellent presentation, training, written and oral communication skills.
Salary range: $85,000 – $95,000 (dependent on experience).
