The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring product quality throughout the production lifecycle by developing standards, conducting analysis, and driving improvement initiatives. This role involves creating quality documentation, training quality personnel, and leading problem-solving efforts.

• Prepare and update quality standards, inspection plans, and quality control documents for various production processes.
• Develop and deliver training programs for quality inspectors and production personnel on quality standards, inspection techniques, and defect identification.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret product quality data from each production process using statistical methods.
• Generate regular quality performance reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to analyze and resolve product quality issues (e.g., using 8D methodology, root cause analysis).
• Drive continuous quality improvement activities and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
• Ensure compliance with internal quality management systems and external industry standards.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to quality processes.
• Work closely with design and manufacturing teams during new product introduction (NPI) to ensure quality by design.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial), Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience (typically 5+ years) as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, MSA, 8D).
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, Excel).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for training and collaboration.
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification is a plus.
