Position: Test Engineer II (Electronic Hardware)
The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.
** Responsibilities:
*** Support automated test equipment
* Collaborate with development engineering on design for test (DFT) requirements
* Integrate circuit card test into manufacturing processes. (ICT)
* Conduct failure analysis to ensure quality standards and provide feedback to engineering
** Qualifications You Must Have:
*** Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering or other related discipline and typically 2 or more years of experience
* Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
* Conceptual knowledge of engineering principles and practices
* Familiarity working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
* Knowledge of requirements management, system design, and systems integration
* Exposure to planning, conducting and documenting Verification and Validation (V&V) activities
* Familiarity with printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) process including testing fundamentals such as Boundary Scan, Flying Probe, Integrated Circuit Card Testing
* The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
** Qualifications We Prefer:
*** Previous experience with in circuit test development and deployment
* Experience with various testing equipment, standards, and methodologies to include manual and automated testing
* Ability to prepare complex and professional test plans, test procedures, and test reports in order to demonstrate compliance to system requirements
* Familiarity with Product and Quality Assurance principles and experienced in generation and disposition of product non-conformances
* Experience performing certification testing for various certification organizations (i.e. FAA, NASA, DoD)
* Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and use logical trouble shooting techniques
