The ideal candidate has experience with facilities operations performing a range of operating procedures, alarm response, new process equipment commissioning, and event management as well as a strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and process system operation.

• Support the pre-commissioning of new facility utilities and process system equipment
• Write start up commissioning procedures, sequence of start up, PSSR and other commissioning and start up related documents including narrative and P&’s marking
• Drive reliable facilities system operation through collaboration with Operators, Construction/Maintenance Technicians, and Facilities Mechanical and Commissioning Engineers
• Lead planning and execution of complex, critical operations and maintenance evolutions, including the development of standard operating procedures and pre-task plans
• Serve as technical resource for training, mentoring, and building a 24/7 facilities operations team
• Support construction and maintenance job planning for initial and new process system startup
• Develop and implement the facilities operators training program, collect training progress data for monthly and quarterly reports

• 5+ years related equivalent work experience
• Must have understanding of mechanical and electrical system operations
• Effective verbal and written communications skills along with strong attention to detail, flexibility, and prioritization
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information
• Able to wear all required PPE associated with required tasks
• Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for 10+ hours per day, wear air purifying respirator as needed for specific tasks, lift at least 10
  -20 lbs. on a regular basis, perform repetitive hand and wrist motions and sometimes may have to twist and bend body, ability to climb ladders/stairs, work in loud environment. Must be able to discern audible alarms
• Required to work with and around hazardous areas and hazardous chemicals and materials
