Reliability Engineer, Power Electronics
We are seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer to optimize production reliability and drive continuous improvement in power electronics manufacturing. The role will focus on minimizing downtime, enhancing equipment performance, and streamlining maintenance processes through data‑driven strategies and cross‑functional collaboration.
What You'll Do- Optimize equipment reliability by developing and implementing customized proactive maintenance tasks to eliminate recurring equipment failures, catalog and manage a database of spare parts to improve inventory control.
- Data‑driven maintenance optimization by utilizing data analytics tools to build interactive dashboards that pinpoint high‑downtime equipment stations, enabling targeted interventions to enhance throughput and reduce bottlenecks.
- Continuous improvement initiatives by leading incremental equipment enhancement projects with a practical, hands‑on approach, utilizing reverse engineering, root‑cause analysis, 3D modeling, CNC machining, and advanced material selection to optimize reliability and equipment uptime.
- Collaborate across teams by working closely with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to proactively identify and troubleshoot issues, refine manufacturing processes, and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in reliability engineering, maintenance optimization, and manufacturing process improvements in automotive manufacturing or high‑volume production environments.
- Excellent problem‑solving, project management, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques, spare parts management, and process automation.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools (SQL, Power BI, Tableau preferred).
- Practical experience with reverse engineering, root‑cause analysis, CNC machining, and 3D modeling (Solid Works, AutoCAD preferred).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Reliability‑Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles.
