We’re seeking a Control Systems Technician to support the installation, startup, commissioning, and maintenance of industrial control systems at customer sites. This is a hands‑on, field‑based role ideal for early‑career technicians looking to grow their skills in automation, controls, and system integration while working alongside experienced engineers and project teams.

• Support installation, startup, and commissioning of control systems
• Perform instrument wiring, loop checks, calibrations, and panel work
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC, HMI, and control system components
• Assist with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and onsite testing
• Read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
• Follow Thermo’s Quality Management System (QMS) and safety standards
• Accurately document work performed and communicate issues proactively
• Provide professional, customer‑focused support at client sites

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 0–3 years of industry or hands‑on technical experience

• Basic PLC and HMI exposure or strong interest in learning
• Hands‑on electrical and mechanical aptitude
• Comfortable using tools such as multimeters and diagnostic equipment

• Strong communication and willingness to learn
• Team‑oriented, dependable, and safety‑focused

• Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the U.S.
• Fit for duty at all times

• Up to 100% of time spent at customer locations with overnight travel up to 60%
• Current position is for on‑site support at USA Parkway, Sparks, NV. Post project travel may be required.

On call rotation participation may be required based on location and client needs.

• Proof of eligibility to work in the country where the position is located is required.
