Description

The Count Team Supervisor oversees daily department operations of the count team, supervising team members to perform the daily drop of all slot machines and table games on the casino floor, as well as removing bill validators from the machines and replacing them with empty ones.

Job Requirements
  • Complete staff scheduling and determine staffing needs.
  • Communicate department issues, guest complaints and compliments to management.
  • Maintain a balanced vault.
  • Pick‑up and replace bill validation boxes from all slot machines on the casino floor.
  • Direct the carts carrying hot and cold drop cans to and from the soft count room.
  • Accurately log, count and maintain all count sheet reports.
  • Enter count information into the computer systems to be forwarded to accounting.
  • Keep GCB letter of drop & count times current, along with any emergency drop/count letters.
  • Perform weekly payroll functions for the department, including interviewing, hiring, and reviewing all department team members.
  • Maintain and repair Kiosks on the casino floor, logging or calling for repairs as needed.
  • Wheel the carts with the validation boxes away to be counted.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable company and departmental policies and procedures, and willingness to learn new policies as introduced.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma and/or GED required.
  • Previous experience handling cash.
  • Basic knowledge of S.D.S. or Casino Marketplace is a plus.
Additional Requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have basic computer and math skills.
  • Must be able to conduct hands‑on training with verbal instructions.
  • Must be able to use a 10‑key and have strong computer skills.
  • Respond to common inquiries and/or complaints from guests.
  • Must tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
  • Must be flexible and able to work early morning shifts and weekends.
Required Work Cards
  • Must be registered with the Gaming Control Board.
