ERG Aerospace Corporation is a mid‑sized manufacturing company founded in 1967. The company is family‑owned and headquartered in Sparks, Nevada, with manufacturing facilities in both Nevada and California. ERG supplies metal, carbon, and ceramic foam to aerospace, defense, semiconductor, biomedical and scientific industry customers. Given our attractive product portfolio, deep technical and manufacturing expertise, and dynamic market segments, we have a significant opportunity to enhance our human resource support function.
The Human Resources Director is a key leader who reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for shaping and executing the organization’s human capital strategy. This role oversees all HR functions—including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, employee relations, compliance, and organizational development—ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
This position offers a competitive and comprehensive compensation package including a base salary of $100,000–$135,000, a 401(k) plan with a match, health insurance, dental and vision coverage. The role is full‑time and requires daily onsite presence at the corporate office in Sparks, NV.
Responsibilities include:- Hands‑on execution and oversight of daily operations and strategic direction of the HR department, coaching and developing leaders across the organization.
- Partner with the executive team to develop and implement HR and talent strategies that support organizational goals, including workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Provide expert guidance and support to senior management on complex, sensitive, and high‑impact HR issues.
- Direct the talent acquisition strategy for all levels, focusing on leadership and critical roles; collaborate with department heads to forecast and fulfill talent needs.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; regularly review and update policies to maintain best practices and legal compliance.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in HR and talent management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives and cross‑functional teams.
- Advanced analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
- Strong organizational and strategic planning skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
- Commitment to professional conduct and company values.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- A minimum of five years of human resource management experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
