You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. You will work with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment to drive stability and sustainability of next‑generation networks and assist in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale our network.
To be successful you should possess technical aptitude, strong written and oral communication skills, advanced analytical and problem‑solving ability, and the ability to work independently and in a team. Work prioritization, organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to react quickly are critical.
Physical Requirements- Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds.
- Work in a 24/7 environment, participating in primary responder rotations and after‑hours support as needed.
- Work in cramped, elevated, and noisy environments.
- Bending, lifting, stretching, reaching, standing and walking for up to 8+ hours a day.
- Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safely.
This role supports a new data center currently under construction. You may be assigned to a facility still under construction or travel to established locations for training until the site becomes operational. Candidates must be willing to travel (over 50 miles) or commute (less than 50 miles) to active data center sites.
Key Job Responsibilities- Move and implement large enterprise equipment.
- Install fiber and copper cabling and patch cables between equipment.
- Ensure proper safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
- Follow well‑established hardware installation procedures and perform break‑fix activities.
- Safely use material‑handling tools and equipment.
Travel within and outside the regional work area is required. A reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license are required; company transportation will not be provided.

Basic Qualifications- High school or equivalent diploma.
- 1+ year of experience in computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, or data center operations.
- Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment.
- Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.
- Industry standard certifications (CompTIA, CCENT, Network+).

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,600 per year in our lowest geographic market to $113,200 per year in our highest.
