Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an Infrastructure Delivery Installation Technician to join our growing team within infrastructure operations at our data center in Sparks, NV.

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In this role, you will help maintain and grow the network by installing hardware, running cabling, and working in a dynamic and safety-focused environment.

• Move and implement large enterprise equipment.
• Install fiber and copper cabling, patching between equipment.
• Ensure proper safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
• Follow established hardware installation procedures and perform break‑fix activities.
• Operate material‑handling tools and equipment safely.
• Manage onsite travel and maintain reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license.

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds.
• Work in a 24/7 environment, participating in a primary responder rotation and after‑hours support as needed.
• Operate in cramped, elevated, and noisy environments.
• Bend, lift, stretch, reach, stand, and walk for up to 8+ hours daily.
• Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation.

• 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ year of computer networking experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.

• Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.
