We are seeking a Dev Sec Ops Engineer to join a dynamic R&D software development team focused on advanced diagnostics for infectious diseases. This role requires a blend of development, operations, and security expertise, with a strong emphasis on integrating security practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
As a Dev Sec Ops Engineer, you will design, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or similar platforms. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines that deploy both application code and cloud resources, ensuring robust documentation and best practices for software teams. Integrating automated security scanning, static analysis, and compliance checks into these pipelines will be a key part of your responsibilities.
You will monitor and enhance system security posture, manage vulnerabilities, and respond to incidents, collaborating closely with development teams to ensure secure and reliable deployment and operational practices. Staying current with emerging threats and technologies is essential, as is adhering to regulatory requirements and quality systems.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field and has 5-7 years of proven experience in software development. A strong understanding of Dev Ops principles, experience with CI/CD tools (such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or CircleCI), and proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) are required. Familiarity with IaC tools, containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and security tools for static and dynamic analysis is preferred.
Experience with C# and Python is mandatory, while SQL and Power Shell for scripting and automation are advantageous. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.
