The Welder is a key position in our Metal Tech operation. The position applies appropriate welding processes to join, surface, fabricate or repair metal parts and assemblies, as specified by work orders or production drawings.

• Demonstrates willingness to take direction and follows instructions; adheres to schedule and maintains regular attendance at the work site. Works overtime as assigned.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment, returns all tools to proper storage location, and performs routine housekeeping (i.e., cleaning, organizing).
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Identifies unsafe working conditions and notifies supervisor.
• Fabricates metal parts and assemblies by cutting, burning, and welding various metals. Uses welding machines, oxyacetylene torches, plasma cutters, various hand and power tools, cranes, forklifts and other lifting equipment (when certified) in an appropriate manner.
• Inspects completed work for conformance to specifications. Ensures work products meet specifications, including dimensional criteria, squareness standards, and weld call outs through personal checking of product; obtains first part approval on each new task.

• You are enthusiastic and motivated in a fast-paced environment with proven welding experience.
