We are seeking an energetic, skilled, cost‑conscious, team‑oriented individual to manage a team of maintenance technicians on shift at the Gigafactory in Sparks, Nevada. The incumbent will ensure equipment performance, safety compliance, and continuous improvement.

• Manage, mentor, and lead a team of Maintenance Technicians focused on manufacturing equipment within the Battery Module team.
• Promote and adhere to all equipment operation standards, prioritizing performance and availability.
• Drive improvement of technicians via KPIs including MTTR, technician utilization, offline projects, and UPDT/PT execution.
• Coach technicians to execute and communicate equipment servicing needs to increase reliability.
• Lead and assist technicians in resolving unplanned downtime events and driving successful recoveries with high reliability.
• Make daily resource allocation decisions, balancing competing priorities to serve the needs of maintenance, engineering, and production.
• Ensure EHS responsibilities: keep safety training current, document incidents, proactively correct hazards, and empower continuous improvement.

• 3+ years of experience managing teams in a high‑volume manufacturing setting (preferred).
• Proficient understanding of general manufacturing processes, automation, controls, including experience with Fanuc robots, PLC programming, and troubleshooting industrial electrical panels/systems.
• Demonstrates reliability, initiative, proactive learning attitude, and adaptability to varied schedules and environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, keen attention to detail, flexibility, and exceptional prioritization abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Adheres strictly to safety protocols, uses required PPE, and meets physical demands such as standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive motions in a loud environment.
• Ensures EHS training, incident documentation, hazard identification, and continuous operational improvements.
• Leadership traits: maintains confidentiality, multitasks, adapts to constant changes, matches alarms, distinguishes colors, and has accurate depth perception.
