Northern Nevada Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) ICU to provide full‑time night shift care in Sparks, Nevada. The position calls for a dynamic individual committed to safe, competent nursing care and patient‑centered teamwork.

Northern Nevada Health System Pay Range

Base pay range: $27.73/hr – $47.36/hr actual salary is based on experience and skills.

Responsibilities

• Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill, integrating direct and indirect patient care activities.
• Coordinates the implementation of the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients, developing goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans that meet individual needs.
• Consistently completes hourly rounds to strengthen nurse communication, improve safety, and anticipate patient needs (pain, repositioning, toileting).
• Supports and informs the patient and family of hospital‑specific components of the Patient Centered Care Delivery model, including medical record policy and open visitation.

Qualifications

• Current Nevada nursing license
• At least one year of critical care nursing experience
• Current BLS
• Current ACLS (or obtained within six months of hire)
