This dynamic individual will provide direct patient care to adult populations in the cardiac catheterization laboratory, addressing the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the interventional environment. Responsibilities include effective communication with physicians and team members about patient condition, assessing procedure room equipment for functionality and readiness, assisting with supplies, monitoring and positioning patients during procedures, administering moderate sedation under physician guidance, and participating in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.
Job Duties- Responsible for admitting, recovering, and discharging patients from the Cardiovascular Lab.
- Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other health team members as required, and adjusts nursing care processes to ensure optimal patient care.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the lifespan and the skills necessary to provide age‑appropriate care to the patient population served.
- Performs a head‑to‑toe assessment on all patients and conducts reassessments as per policy, including post‑procedure assessments.

- Current Nevada nursing license
- Current BLS certificate
- ACLS certificate
- Required cath lab experience
- One year full‑time or three years part‑time experience in an acute care setting preferred
- Current POC certification within six months of hire
- Willing to take call/standby in the cardiovascular lab as needed
